Pixel art is cross stitch that lives on a screen. Every pixel is a square of flat colour on a grid, so a sprite is already a chart — one pixel becomes one stitch, with no resampling and nothing lost. These were drawn at the stitch count they are sold at, so what you see is exactly what you count.

Pixel hearts full and empty, a glowing potion, a sword and shield, a treasure chest, a save crystal, a little ghost, coins and keys, a game-over tablet. Chunky 8-bit shading in a tight palette, which also makes them some of the quickest charts in the shop.

Yes. Every chart in this collection is whole cross stitch only — no backstitch, no quarter or three-quarter stitches and no french knots. If you can sew one X over one square of aida you can finish any of them. Every chart is 130 stitches square, finishing at about 9¼ inches on 14-count aida; what varies between them is the number of floss colours.

What is included in the pixel art pattern download?
