Are these planet cross stitch patterns good for beginners?

Yes. All 25 are whole cross stitch only, with no backstitch, fractional stitches or french knots, and every chart prints with a symbol in each square.

What size is a finished planet pattern?

Each chart is 130 stitches square: about 9.3 inches on 14-count aida and 7.2 inches on 18-count.

Is this a PDF download or a kit?

A PDF download only, ready the moment you pay. No fabric or floss is posted. The floss key lists every DMC shade and how many skeins to buy.
