Sea Bishop is a counted cross stitch pattern made for this shop. It is an instant PDF download — nothing is posted to you, and the file is ready the moment your order clears. The chart is 130 by 130 stitches in 11 real DMC colours, with a symbol printed in every square as well as the colour, so it still works from a black and white printer. The floss key lists each DMC number by name with its stitch count and how many skeins to buy, so you can walk into a shop with it and walk out with the right thread. On 14-count aida it finishes about 9.3 inches (23.6 cm) across, which suits a hoop or a small frame; the cover page also gives the size on 16 and 18 count if you prefer it smaller. Whole cross stitch only — no backstitch, no fractional stitches and no french knots — and the chart has been cleaned of stray single stitches, so it is a genuinely easy sea monster kraken cross stitch pattern for a confident beginner upward. Made for sea monster, kraken and old map lovers. Finished, it hangs as wall art or makes a gift for someone who would rather be stitching. Fabric, floss and hoop are not included. This pattern is for your own stitching. Please do not resell or share the file, though you are very welcome to sell pieces you have stitched from it yourself.

Questions about the Sea Bishop pattern

Is the Sea Bishop cross stitch pattern suitable for beginners?

Yes. It is whole cross stitch only — no backstitch, no quarter or three-quarter stitches and no french knots — so if you can sew one X over one square of aida you can finish it. It uses 11 colours over 130 by 130 stitches.

What do I get when I buy this pattern?

A PDF the moment your payment clears, 11 pages long. It holds the colour chart, the same chart again in black and white symbols so it prints on any printer, a floss key naming real DMC shade numbers with how many skeins to buy, and the finished size on 14, 16 and 18-count aida.

Is anything posted to me?

No. This is a digital download only — no fabric, floss or hoop is included, and nothing is shipped. The download link does not expire, so you can come back for the file whenever you like.

What fabric and floss do I need for this sea monsters pattern?

Any aida or evenweave you like. The finished sizes above assume two strands over one on aida. The floss list below names 11 real DMC shades, so you can take it straight to a shop or order the exact skeins online.

Can I sell what I stitch from this pattern?

Yes. Stitch it as often as you like and sell the finished piece — at a fair, on Etsy, wherever you sell. What you cannot do is pass on, resell or share the PDF itself, because that is the thing being bought.

What if the file will not open or something is wrong with it?

Email us and we will sort it the same day. The chart is a standard PDF that opens in any reader, on a phone or a desktop, and you can print only the pages you are working from rather than all 11.
